In order to get enough votes in the House of Representatives Friday to pass a $124-billion spending bill that puts an August 2008 withdrawal deadline on combat troops in Iraq, Democratic leaders had to lard the legislation with pork projects.

The charge of larding the Iraq Supllemental Appropriations bill with "pork" echoes exeactly the Pro war supporters talking points. For a newpapere that's masthead proclaims it to be "Florida's Best Newspaper" to become the repeater of conservative talking points shows just how empty the "liberal Media Myth" has become.
