Bi-Partisan Nonsense
Tip of the Hat

of bi-partisan "idn't someone else mention that it is oxymoronic? you are partisan or you are not. but you can't be bipartisan."
This is a beautidul way to reframe and repond to cries of one party or the other not behaving in a bi-partisan fashion. In reality, the complainer is saying I didn't get my partisan agenda taken care of by the other guys, therefore they are not being "bi-partisan". This way, you put "partisanship" back on the complainer.
Oranges
that reminds me of a couple of stories
In the first, two kids are fighting over an orange, and a third kid says what's going on? And the first kid says I think we should share the orange 50/50, and the second kid says I want it all! and so the parent says you're both going to have to learn to compromise, and gives the first kid 1/4 of the orange, and the second kid 3/4.
In the second, two kids are fighting over an orange, and a third kid says what's going on? and the first kid says I want the orange, and the second kid says I want the orange, and before they can speak another word, the third kid pulls out a pocketknife and cuts it in half, and hands half to each kid. The second kid eats the orange and throws away the rind, and the first kid halves the orange cake recipe, zests the orange rind, and throws away the fruit.
Anybody can complain, but determining what's fair requires consideration. Calling someone names "You weren't bipartisan!" because they didn't get their way is kind of childish.

New! Actually...
In some peoples' nations, they have a government that allows more than two brands of speech. In the USA, complaining that something isn't bi-partisan is simply stating a complaint in accurate terms. There is a real and distinct difference between non-partisan and bi-partisan.
One party or the other cannot behave in a bi-partisan fashion. A person cannot be bi-partisan. Groups, however, can be. Complaining that both parties were not represented in a situation where both should have been (or, in your general terms, saying that only the "other guy's" views were presented) is a legitimate complaint.
This should be placed in that third category, "Yawn of the Mouth."
